I dont get it why is s&m offensive? Very cool and I have an exercise for u. You said u wanted to learn to draw more symmetrical faces so heres what u do. Look at a photo and turn it upside down. Draw it by just focusing on the shapes you need to make instead of the larger picture it will become. Do it a few times until u get it right. After that drawing things right side up should be easier and dont forget to focus on the shapes not the whole picture. It worked for me.
